When I’m drafting and living alone, getting stuck in my imagination can be a problem for sure.

You really struck a chord for me in this posting, Amy. Welcome to the world of daily walkers. It has kept me sane--well, relatively sane--for over two decades. Even, as you mention, if it's just around the block, a short walk re-invigorates me, clears my head of the noise and clutter, and helps me manage stress, frustration and anxiety. And don't worry, my friend. Your words will come. Perhaps you've needed a short break from them. Walk on!

I'm an old hand at the daily walks. Having dogs for years meant walks every day, but I needed some shorter endeavors to remind me that distance doesn't matter. Words are still coming fortunately, just a slow drip.❤️
