News and a giveaway

One week from today, June 6, Voyage of the Pleiades will be released into the wild! I hope you’ve pre-ordered your book or have a plan to purchase one. If you live in Salida, there will be a release party at Tres Litros beginning at 4:30 pm on Tuesday, June 6, signed books and stickers will be available for purchase.

In addition, on June 23, I will be at the Salida Public Library during ArtWalk for the Local Author Book Fair from 4:30 to 6:30 pm.

Voyage of the Pleiades will be available in Salida at Howl Mercantile and Moony Goods. For those of you not in Colorado, you have many options to chose from: Bookshop, Apple, Amazon, Barnes & Noble and Kobo are a few. Your local bookstores and libraries should also be able to order copies.

Before I get to the giveaway, I have one more piece of news.

The Colorado Experience: Twin Lakes documentary that I worked on has been nominated for a Heartland Emmy!

You may remember that this documentary aired last November and has great personal significance to me (I wrote about it here). To be recognized for our work on this topic is deeply meaningful. If you missed seeing it last year, you can watch it on YouTube. The awards ceremony is July 15!
